The great wildebeest migration is a rare phenomenon that naturally takes place every year between Serengeti in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya.
Season: July - October
It is a spectacular sight to behold as hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and other huge packs of gazelles in one accord transverse this huge ecosystem as they search for new feeding grounds.
The real drama occurs in Masai Mara where the congregation is remarkable and overwhelming. Every available space is cruelly colonized as huge herds move about scrambling for every green parch that appears to attract their instincts.
Watch the multiple river crossings, over the Mara River with fierce Nile crocodiles waiting for their chance to make a feast.
Not to be left behind are prides of lions and large clans of hyenas, who equally have their festive season blessed as much prey is easily available. Other game to be found in this migratory territory are cheetahs, the rare black rhinos as well as the ever elusive and shy master of stalking, the leopard.

Day1: Nairobi
Arrival at JKIA and be met by an African 1900 Safaris representative.
Be transferred to your hotel of choice in Nairobi for an overnight stay.

Day2: Masai Mara
After breakfast, we head to Masai Mara, through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy the wonders of this great ecosystem.
8 Overnights at a classic camp.
Day 10: Masai Mara
After a fulfilling and immortal experience at Masai Mara, wrap up your safari and head to Nairobi to arrive early afternoon. After lunch head out to JKIA for your onward flight.
