Day 1: Nakuru National park


This day has two options: -

Option 1: Arrive in the morning and head direct to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive takes approximately 21/2 hrs.
Option 2: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi in the evening and be transferred to a city hotel for an overnight on bead and breakfast basis.

Day 2-Overnights full board basis

(Both options will definitely take you to the magical lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. Being one of the several soad lakes, Lake Nakuru distinguishes itself as a lake with the largest number of flamingoes, thus earning the name “The best ornithological spectacle on earth”. This day you drive to north west of Nairobi and just a few kilometers from the City Centre, descend into the Rift Valley, that world famous depression, from the eastern escarpment.

Enjoy beautiful scenery as you witness this gorgeous landscape. Other physical features to be captured are extinct mountains, Longonot and Suswa. Drive past Lake Naivasha , a fresh water body full of birdlife and large colonies of hippo. Arrive at Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy the two days in this satisfying territory, explore the lake's shoreline to witness hundreds of thousands of flamingoes. Occasionally, a leopard will be spotted among the many gigantic fever trees “yellow-barked trees” of Acacias that symbolize the African Savannah.

Day 3 & 4 NAKURU – MAASAI MARA

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, depart and head towards the world's renown “Jewel of Kenya's Parks”, the Masai Mara, a territory full of game and birdlife and second to none. It's in this area where the greatest show on earth unfolds.

Millions of wildebeests, zebras etc march in one accord together. It's a sight to leave you breathless. Drive takes 5hrs, but with a short break on the way. Ascend out of the Rift Valley and witness the huge wheat farms. Encounter on the way to the world famous and elegant tribe, the Maasai and their large herds of cattle.

Arrive at The Mara in time for lunch. Enjoy all your meals and overnights at a lodge/classic camp. Spend the remaining duration exploring this extra ordinary magnificent and thrilling natural wonder.

Masai Mara will always quench that thirst of African dream with abundance of wildlife, huge open savannah spaces and the open skies full of twinkling stars. Whether you visit during the great migration or any other time, this splendid place has amazing wonders that create memories that last forever, long after the photos have already faded.

Day 5 – NAIROBI

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, depart and head towards Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.Lunch.(Optional city tour, shopping)head to JKIA for your onward arrangements.
